Our latest discovery was found in the storage building - the part of the storage building that hasn't been disturbed since the early 1920's.

It's a long rusty hook with a wooden handle. I didn't know what it was and when I showed it to Aaron he recognized it right away. "That's for catching and killing chickens." He then proceeded to demonstrate how one can catch chickens with the rusty hook.
He left the killing part out, not wanting to horrify children who might watch the video. He also used a stick, rather than a chicken because we didn't have any chickens or a large chicken costume for me to wear.
Watch and learn:

NOTE:
- To be added to our rocking newsletter, email info@littlephotography.net. Aaron says .COM, rather than .NET.
- We do not condone the catching or killing of chickens with long rusty hooks, unless those chickens are attacking your family or if they look delicious.

Do you know where I can buy one of those? I might need one to protect myself from Chad's crazy rooster on the farm!
