These sites are sweet mainly because they look so good. As a benefit, they save bees and contribute to the caffeine addictions of the world.

Check 'em!

Help the Honeybees.com

Go to this site when you're feeling stressed out. Turn the volume up. Sit back. Relax.

Try it. You'll see what I mean. And you might save a honey bee while you're at it.

Starbucks Coffee at Home.com

Fine your favorite coffee while checking out awesome chalkboard art.

Mine is Costa Rica Tarrazu, which is also the name of Costa Rican version of Indiana Jones - which is one of my favorite movie franchises. So, it makes sense.

I'm pretty excited about this edition of sweet websites, especially the last one.

Take a look!

Good Reads

With a mission to "improve the process of reading and learning throughout the world," this is an ambitious site where you can make friends and view their bookshelves to decide on that next book to read.

This is a great find for anyone who loves to read, but has trouble selecting the next book.

Clean Guys TV

Okay, this site is the bomb-diggity, and I don't use that phrase lightly.

Do you remember Dave Coulier? He's the dude that played the wisecracking and often lame Uncle Joey on Full House.

Apparently, he's still around and has created a site that works a lot like YouTube. Hre's the twist: all content is carefully filtered to only allow clean humor.

This is great if you want to allow your kids to enjoy some internet humor without worrying about all the horrible things they might see and hear along the way. It has stand-up, bloopers from movies and TV shows, original vidoes and more.

So there you have it. Three sites to add to your time-wasting repertoire.

Enjoy!

Retailmenot.com

A penny saved is a penny earned. A coupon found is a penny saved. By the transitive property of equality, a coupon found is a penny earned.

So by visiting this website, you can earn a penny. Don't spend it all in one place.

Listentoamovie.com

Now this is not for everybody. It might not be for anybody. You can listen to movies and TV shows. You can't see them, but you can hear them.

I think it's cool if it's a movie that you've seen a billion times and love. It's also fun to quiz your coworkers. Just queue up a classic and see who can guess what movie it is first. I'm stumping Cindy on Mission Impossible as I type. She has no idea...

The Wedding Singer is a good choice. You don't really need to see it to feel the emotion. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll probably get fired if your boss walks by.

"I'm the best guitar player in the world. Self-taught. No lessons. Thank you very much."

Podiobooks.com

I hate to go all literary on you again, but this is pretty neat.

You can search, subscribe, and browse through a variety of totally free audio books and it's totally legal.

Switchplanet.com

Trade DVD's, CD's, video games, and books. Super cool.

Check it out: some new websites for your entertainment.

Caveman's Crib: http://www.cavemanscrib.com/

Spend some time snooping around in their apartment. Change the channels on their TV, look through their bathroom drawers. Listen in on their phone conversations.

It's totally interactive and there are a lot of hidden treasures around, so take your time.

Elf Yourself: http://www.elfyourself.com/

This site is really old news, but some of you may not have heard of it.

Make an elf of yourself and others. It's what Christmas is all about.

Demotivation: http://www.despair.com/

It's not as bad as it sounds, but the humor is a little dark.

Check it out if you're feeling overly motivated and need a little bring-me-down.

If you're reading this, you're probably bored. Here are a couple of other sites to check out while you’re killing time:

npr.org/music

Think NPR is a snooze-fest? Maybe. But their music website is pretty blame cool.

Go there and look 25 years back at Michael Jackson's Thriller. Many of you remember when this came out.

You can also listen to live shows and new songs from artists that may be new to you. You might just discover that you like jazz after all. Who knows?

blogs.usatoday.com/popcandy/

If you enjoy being neck-deep in pop culture, this is the blog for you.
Read about Battlestar Galactica, see movie trailers before anyone else, and learn tv show trivia you never knew you cared about.

dailylit.com

No time to read a book anymore? I bet you check your email like a mad man and/or woman.

Well Dailylit.com is the answer. Many of the books are free, most are inexpensive. You order the book and the site will email it to you in readable installments every day so you can read it as you check your email.

Brilliant!

So spend the rest of your day listening to an obscure indie band you've never heard of and reading about the first 6 minutes of The Dark Knight. When your done, read a chapter of Grapes of Wrath from your inbox.
I wanted to share some sites that I've wasted way too much time on.

www.Pandora.com

You can create your own online radio station that is tailor made for you. You input songs that you're into and Pandora builds a station around them, playing those songs and songs like it. It's designed to help people find new music they'll like.

Be sure to use headphones if you're at work, especially if your station is created around Los Del Rio's 90's classic, “Macarena”. Nobody wants to hear that.

www.Badgerbadgerbadger.com

You'll be mesmerized by the badger's chant. I can't look away whenever I see it.

Set this as your coworkers' homepage.

www.Engrish.com

Funny things happen when non-English speakers try to speak English. Check out all of these flubbed phrases. You'll laugh your socks off (or on if they were off already).
