My little one, Elias, has a friend. Her name is Aidyn. Aidyn came for Wildflower portraits a few weeks back and Aaron couldn't believe how much they look alike.

In fact, a lot of people have said the same thing.

What do you think?

Hi

Hi, secret blog readers.

Rest assured that I haven't forgotten about you. With the Christmas season barreling toward our studio like a big angry bison, I've been distracted.

I spoke with a friend at Albemarle's Downtown Christmas the other night who said she checks the secret blog regularly for entertainment and I felt guilty for letting this thing slide to the back burner.

These are our friends Michelle, Ayden, and Santa Clause. Michelle is the aforementioned secret blog reader, Ayden is her little girl, and Santa is a bearded man in a blood-red suit that scares the crud out of children.

Elias kept his ninja thumb ready in case anything went down.

The moral of this story is that you can expect more frequent secret updates. You can also expect Santa to terrify your kids if they're under two years old.

We brought in the 'big gun' yesterday for a promo shoot.

My son, Elias, is a little over one year old. He tends to do pretty well getting his picture taken. He's quick to smile and, like his father, he's extremely handsome.

Things started off really well. He was romping around, happy as could be. Cindy worked with him to get some smiles while Aaron got some good shots.

Then things got out of control.

It took several tranquilizer darts, a strong net, and four stout men; but we managed to get him under control. However, Aaron may never have what doctors call "a normal face" again.
